“Give a man a beer and waste an hour. Teach a man to brew and waste a lifetime” ~ Bill Owen
Beer is the lubricant for social interaction. It’s refreshing on a hot day, and a warmer on a cold day. Almost every culture on Earth has a history rooted in beer. Beer is the third most consumed beverage worldwide behind water and tea. It’s been called liquid bread, a pay cheque, saviour, and devil. Worldwide there are festivals dedicated to it. Monks drink it, and only it, for 40 days. We gaze into it, smell it, taste it. We desire it. We covet it. We make it. We drink it.
