White Labs 0060 – American Ale Blend
Yeast was grown up from a previous batch (saved from the starter). Used stir-plate.
FERMENTATION
2 Weeks @ 19 C (66 F)
NOTES
This was a pretty hard brew session. The mash stuck because of all the rye and I had no rice hulls, then when the boil started the wind picked up and played havoc with my flame and boil, and then to as insult to injury the hops clogged my system and I wasn’t able to get the full capacity into the carboy.
It finished higher then I expected, but even with all the issues this is a tasty beer. Not sure if would have wanted it any higher gravity with how it’s balanced now.
